Grand Palace & Wat Phra Keo and the Reclining Buddha temples
Home of the Kings of Siam of the Chakri Dynasty, originally built by King Rama I, it served as the royal residence until 1946. Today the palace is still used on certain occasions for visiting royalty or special guests of the Kingdom. Adjoining the Grand Palace you will find the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Keo), this is probably the best known of the royal temples. It is regarded as the most important temple in all Thailand and it is the venue of many of the numerous religious ceremonies in which the King participates, especially at the beginning of each of the three seasons when His Majesty personally changes the elaborate robes of the Buddha image, carved out of a single piece of emerald-green jasper.

Bangkok is still a city of temples, The tour takes you through the interesting part of Bangkok, at the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Po), the actual name of which is Wat Phra Jetupon, famous as the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok, with its precincts covering 80,000 square meters in all.

Day 3

Half day Floating market and train market with lunch ( Breakfast , Lunch )

The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is a very attractive place for tourists to see the old style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables, etc., from small boats.
Your journey commences with a leisurely drive through rice paddies and salt fields. En route we visit farmhouse along the way and watch locals produce sugar from coconut. The tour continues with a 30 minutes longtail boat trip along fruit plantation to see Thai houses and the traditional way of life. Arriving at Damnoen Saduak floating market you will be fascinated by boats of various shapes and sizes used by local merchants to ferry their goods. Continue to the Maeklong Railway Market. It is one of the largest fresh seafood markets in Thailand, and is centered around the track of the Maeklong Railway. When trains approach, the awnings and shopfronts are moved back from the rails, and then replaced once the train has passed. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.

Bangkok – Chiang Mai

Day 4

Transfer from Bangkok Hotel to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel. ( Breakfast )
Upon arrival to Chiang Mai Airport and transfer to Chiang Mai Hotel.

PM: Arrive at Chiang Mai airport. Meet local guide and transfer to hotel in Chiang Mai.

Day 5

Half Day Elephant Eco Valley (Private transfer / Join activities) ( Breakfast , Lunch )
07.00AM: Drive approximately 50 Mins North of Chiang Mai through a beautiful countryside, forest, and local farming areas to Elephant Eco Valley. Learn about elephants in Thailand at the Elephant Culture Museum, the one and only in Thailand. Get info on herbal treatments, walk in the nature garden, and make herb and vitamin balls cane which the elephants love them. Feed the vitamin balls. Bananas or sugar cane to the elephants. (They love them!) Help with elephant poo paper production. Shower outdoors overlooking a mountain stream. (Watch or wash them yourself!)

Continue for lunch at local restaurant and enjoy the beautiful of orchid and butterfly

After lunch drive to visit the mountain temple Wat Doi Suthep , which is situated on a hill, 1050 m high. On clear days, you will enjoy a fantastic view over the town and the province. Continue by local truck to visit Hmong Hilltrbe village at DoiPui with their everyday surroundings. After tour transfers back to hotel.

Day 6

Daily Lifestyle of a Lanna Family ( Breakfast , Lunch )
09.30M: A short transfer takes you into the outskirts of Chiang Mai to meet your host family in an authentic Thai neighborhood. After being welcomed with a refreshing drink by your host, spend time with the Thai family learning about traditional Thai architecture and the graceful teakwood homes and structures. Stroll through the orchard and herb garden with your host family, who will also demonstrate how to make bamboo baskets and cigars from banana leaves. This rich cultural experience will wrap up with a delicious home-cooked Northern Thai lunch that you will prepare with the family.

After lunch head to Chiangmai city, explore the old city visit Wat Chedi Luang, containing an enormous Pagoda, which was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545. And Wat Pantao then continues by short walk to Three Kings Monument who were the Chiangmai founder. After tour transfers back to hotel.

Overnight in Chiangmai.

Day 7

Chiang Mai Departure ( Breakfast )
Hotel check out at noon.
Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for Departure flight.
